A: I notice that you’ve been coughing. (Aku perhatikan kamu batuk terus)

B: I’m sorry if my cough disturbs you. (Maaf jika batukku mengganggumu)

A: No, it doesn’t at all. I’m just concerned about your health. Are you okay? (Tidak menggangu sama sekali. Aku hanya khawatir akan kesehatanmu. Kamu tidak apa-apa?)

B: Actually, I feel sick. I keep coughing and my head is killing me. (Sebenarnya aku merasa sakit. Aku batuk-batuk dan kepalaku sakit sekali)

A: Maybe you should go home and have a lie-down. (Mungkin kamu harus pulang dan beristirahat)

B: I want to go home so bad, but I have to finish this report today. (Aku sangat ingin pulang, tetapi aku harus menyelesaikan laporan ini hari ini)

A: Is there anything I can do for you, like getting you an aspirin or a cup of tea? (Ada yang bisa aku lakukan untukmu, seperti mengambilkanmu aspirin atau secangkir teh?)

B: I think an aspirin will do. (Aku rasa aspirin akan membantu)

A: I’ll get it for you. (Aku akan mengambilkannya untukmu)

B: Thanks. (Terima kasih)
